Internationally accredited medical program

The International Medicine Program at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), in collaboration with Marmara University, is accredited by the Medical Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (TEPDAD). Additionally, the program is recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS), and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). These accreditations ensure that the program meets international standards and is globally recognized. U.S. students graduating from this medical program can pursue ECFMG certification, sit for the USMLE, and apply for ACGME-accredited residencies and licensure—so long as no additional state-specific rules apply.

U.S. students who graduate from these programs are eligible to pursue licensure in the US.
